Hello
I have been in and around music for a long time, paid gigs for 3 1/2 yrs in a popular top-5 rated college bands in Philly called "The Knack", with a big highlight playing for two Naval Academy Post-Army/Navy game parties. Later on, starting with solo Vocal and Guitar gigs in the Greater Harrisburg area, including week-long gigs at named hotels through a booking agent. Joined my first Country band and continued for 20 or so yrs. Did some studio session work for a "Gettysburg" project, and some of my own recorded songs in a studio. Got to meet some known country artists along those times, even doing a solo front act for Ronnie McDowell, at Pequea Silver Mines, in Lancaster PA. Moved here to sunny Phoenix AZ in 1999.
The Rest of My Story to Present Day Times
Got back into music here through worship music, both choir and worship bands for several churches, both with vocals, acoustic and electric guitar, bass, and occasional blues harmonica.
In the summer of 2019, I woke up on Sat at 3 AM, and a "Little Voice" told me ----"Get back to songwriting". So I paid attention and did just that. Bought what equipment I needed for my home recording studio, as seen in some Gallery photos. But--- where to start? I had already written close to 20 secular songs, country and pop style, back in PA, along with one Christian song. So I was "led" to record that one song first, which I did, also writing a number of Christian songs since then, with 10 of those recorded as of this website posting.
I also have recorded 5 of the secular songs.
Locally, I have also done some 1-man music shows for fund raisers, as I have done a "Willie Nelson" impersonation as the 2nd set of that type show. See some of those photos.
This website has a Two-Fold Purpose.....
1. to Promote my own songwriting, with the intention to get them placed with major artists, both in Christian/Gospel areas, as well as Country, Country Pop/Rock areas.
I have an opinion on "Genre Naming". A ballad, for instance, which I specialize in writing, can be used and named in several genre's. As an example, one of my written Ballads can be Country, if a pedal steel guitar was added on a track, so to me, Genre' can easily be put in another class, all depending on what instrumentation is used.
2. to be available to take a fledging artist's 2-track demo, and ADD other tracks to it, to create a fully functional song that can be uploaded to any music source, where they would not be able to do that on their own, or spend a TON of money doing it in a regular Studio. AND due to available technology as it is today, we can do all of this remotely.
